      Pyrolox® Pro is a washed manganese dioxide for the removal of iron, manganese and arsenic. Pyrolox Pro is a much cleaner manganese dioxide compared to other unprocessed manganese dioxides due to the washing process which results in a reduced volume of fines and turbidity.

      Pyrolox® Pro is used as a catalyst to oxidise, precipitate and remove iron and manganese as well as trace contaminants such as arsenic and hydrogen sulphide.

      This media operates within a pH range of 6.5 – 9.0 and is preferable to a pre-oxidised feed, this can be via a dedicated aeration vessel or by using a strong oxidant like chlorine.

      The trapped particulate is then removed from the media bed during the backwash cycle. Pyrolox® Pro provides savings in installation and commissioning cost due to the washed nature of the product.

      Pyrolox® Pro units are suitable for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
