Filter Media – Juraperle

Juraperle is a specialist water treatment media manufactured from naturally occurring calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Designed to neutralise mildly acidic water, it gently raises pH through a natural reaction with dissolved carbon dioxide.

As the media dissolves, it introduces beneficial calcium and magnesium minerals into the water, improving water quality while maintaining a balanced pH of around 7.

To maintain optimum performance, Juraperle should be topped up every 12 months. A backwashing valve is recommended to prevent media channelling and remove heavy metal deposits from the filter bed.
